ARGENTINA BUENOS AIRES & Cordoba
What a great city! Here are just a few images of Buenos Aires and some of Cordoba.
These images definitely don't mirrow the the main "personality" of the city, BUT maby gives you a little taste of it.

PHOTOMARATHON 2010
Yesterday I took part in a photomarathon. I had to deliver 12 images for 6 topics within 5 hours. Every 2 hours I was given the new 2 topics.
I think the most fun and challenging part was to look for something not too obvious and also to cut down your images to two images per topic.
The whole project really inspires me to do that more often for myself. It's amazing how many interesting pictures I could take by challenging my creativity and point of view.
Here is one image, which I took for the topic "Black and White".
At the end I handed 2 different images though. I thought this image is not clearly black and white. More a white and grey...
I will soon post the rest of my images.

Ben Riegelhaupt
Me and my friend Polish friend Ania visited Ben last Sunday at his apartment.
He couldn't remember me, even though we met before. I called a week before and a day before again just to make sure he knows that we are visiting.
I explained to him, that we have met at the beach, where I have taken a portrait of him. I told him what I knew about his past, that he was a Holocaust victim. Ania translated all in Polish. Later she said, that he was almost scared:
"who is she?? From where does she know me? Why does she have my number and knows so much about me?"
She did her best to explain and to calm him down. And then he proceeded in English, relieved: Ok, now I can relax.
Ben is 87 years old. When he opened the door he was in his simple house clothes.
White T-Shirt and a jogging pant pulled over the shirt. He looked much older today, I thought.
He greeted us friendly and after chatting a bit he warmed up.
He told us bits and pieces about his past.
Ben is very vivid, smart and witty. Somehow he reminded me of Woody Ellen.
He wanted to know Ania's last name, which he pronounced wrongly and meant parsley in Polish. His comment was: "Oh, so you are not a carrot?"
When we were about to leave he gave us a hug and said: Next time I give you a kiss. (Polish costum). If you know a woman more in my age, please let me know. I am still looking. I need someone to take care of me when I am older.
